Year 7
The Blue Coat School is a mixed selective school for students aged 11 – 18, which converted to Academy status on 1st March 2012. We are over 300 years old, so we are rich in tradition, yet we are forward-looking in ideas and technology. Whilst we have a reputation for Academic results, there are many events and activities which make The Blue Coat School experience very exciting and rewarding.
September 2025 Admissions
The application and admission procedure for 2025 closed on Monday 2nd September.
The Blue Coat School will admit 180 students to Year 7 in September 2025.
Our Open Day for Year 5 students took place on Friday 28th June.
The Entrance Test took place on Saturday 21 September 2024. Results were sent to parents on Friday 25th October 2024.
