Parent Communication & Payments
Accessing School Information via MyChildAtSchool (MCAS)
At The Blue Coat School, we use MyChildAtSchool (MCAS) as a single online portal where parents and carers can view important school communications and access their child’s school records.
The MCAS portal provides parents access to:
- Data Collection Forms – Update contact details and other essential information.
- Announcements – Stay informed with key updates from the school.
- Attendance – Track your child’s attendance in real time.
- Behaviour – View behaviour logs and rewards.
- Detentions – Check any assigned detentions.
- Reports – Access school reports and assessments.
- Timetable – See your child’s lesson schedule.
- Academic Calendar – Keep up to date with term dates and key school events.
- Letters Home – Receive and access school correspondence digitally.

If you already have an MCAS account for a child at another school, you can use the same login details to access both schools, if your registered email address is the same.
Stay Up to Date
To ensure you don’t miss any communications:
- Enable notifications on the MCAS app.
- Keep your email and contact details updated in MCAS.
- Regularly check the app for new messages and updates.
