The Geography curriculum at the Blue Coat school is designed to give students a sense of wonder about the world around them. Furthermore, it fosters a love of the subject so that students can understand the principles that underpin geographical study and apply them to the different aspects that we study.

The curriculum poses fertile questions which through geographical enquiry students can answer with the knowledge they have gained. Students are encouraged to think and write like geographers meaning they can use data, maps, graphs, and photographs to explain geographical phenomena.  Students develop the essential knowledge they need to make sense of the physical and human world.
